Accident Overview
A pilot flying a tailwheel-equipped airplane reported that during landing, the airplane was traveling slightly faster than desired. The touchdown was firm, causing the airplane to bounce. The pilot increased engine power to cushion the subsequent landing, but the airplane touched down with the left wing low and the nose pointed to the right. The pilot applied opposite rudder and brake to correct, but the airplane veered to the right and exited the runway.
Damage
The airplane sustained substantial damage to the fuselage.
