What happened
On September 22, 2018, at approximately 1615 UTC, a Cirrus SF50 VisionJet, registration N474CG, was performing a landing at Zurich-Kloten Airport (LSZH) in Zurich, Switzerland. The aircraft, operated by I-FLY AG, c/o Aximos Treuhand AG, was on a non-scheduled cross-country flight originating from Mainz-Finthen Airport (EDFZ) in Germany.
During the landing phase, an electrical fire occurred within the aircraft's air conditioning unit. At the time of the event, weather conditions were characterized by visual meteorological conditions. There were two pilots and three passengers on board; all 5 occupants were not injured. The aircraft sustained minor damage during the incident.
