Incident Summary
A pilot reported that during the landing flare, the airplane suddenly rolled to the left. The pilot quickly corrected the roll, completed the landing, and taxied to the ramp without further incident. A post-flight inspection revealed that the left-wing tip had struck the runway, causing substantial damage to the left aileron.
Damage
The airplane sustained substantial damage specifically to the left aileron. No other damage was reported.
