Incident Notification
On February 16, 2019, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 737 aircraft. The National Transportation Safety Committee of Indonesia (KNKT) notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the United States about the incident. In accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to provide assistance to the KNKT investigation as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.
Investigation
The investigation is being conducted by the KNKT. All investigative information will be released by the KNKT. No further details regarding the nature of the incident, injuries, or damage have been provided by the investigating authority.
