What happened
On April 14, 2019, at 00:20 local time, a Pilatus PC-12, registration VH-OWJ, was climbing through 2,600 feet mean sea level near Merredin, Western Australia, when it experienced an uncontrolled pitch down. The aircraft was operating as a medical transport flight under Australian civil regulations.
The pilot was able to regain control of the aircraft and subsequently returned to Merredin. There were no injuries to the pilot or the three passengers on board, and the airplane sustained no damage.
