What happened
On May 12, 2019, at approximately 0930 UTC, a Cirrus SR22T bearing registration 2-RORO experienced a loss of engine power shortly after departing Abergavenny Airfield near Abergavenny, Wales, United Kingdom.
Following the engine failure, the aircraft underwent a forced landing. The impact resulted in the destruction of the airplane and a post-impact fire. The pilot and two passengers were involved in the accident; all 3 occupants sustained minor injuries, and there were 0 fatalities.
