What happened
On August 2, 2019, at approximately 1830 local time, a Robinson R4SO helicopter, registration DQ-HPT, impacted the ocean approximately 4 nautical miles east of Korotasere, Cakaudrove, Fiji. The aircraft was operating under the civil regulations of Fiji at the time of the accident.
The incident resulted in 3 fatal injuries, involving the commercial pilot and two passengers. Following the impact, the helicopter could not be located.
