Accident Details

A solo student pilot experienced confusion during the landing roll after a training flight. The pilot reported that after touchdown on runway 28, she applied brakes and pulled back on the yoke, but the airplane was traveling too fast to exit at the taxi intersection she normally used. Uncertain of where to turn off, she turned left toward the next taxiway intersection at an excessive speed. The airplane exited the runway to the left and struck a taxiway sign.
