What happened
On August 10, 2019, at approximately 0855 UTC, a Bell 206-L1, registered as SE-JOA, was involved in an accident near Vuoggatjålme, Sweden. The flight was in its initial stages, originating from a location near the accident site, though the intended destination was unknown.
Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft experienced a loss of engine power. The pilot attempted an emergency landing, during which the rotor blades made contact with the tail boom, causing damage to the aircraft. The pilot was not injured.
