The government of Brazil notified the NTSB of an accident involving a Robinson R44 helicopter on August 25, 2019. The accident occurred in Buriti Alegre, Brazil.
There were 3 fatal injuries and 1 minor injury associated with the event. The aircraft involved was registered as PR-APN and operated by Vitoria Logistica LTDA.
Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the Brazilian government's investigation. All investigative details are to be released by the Brazilian authorities.
