Tailwheel Airplane Runway Excursion and Ground Loop

Incident Overview During the landing roll, the pilot of a tailwheel-equipped airplane reported that the aircraft veered to the right. The airplane subsequently exited the runway on the right side and entered a ground loop. As a result of the ground loop, the left wing impacted the terrain. ## Damage and Mechanical Condition The airplane sustained substantial damage to the left wing. The pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
