Incident Details
On January 1, 2020, an Airbus A321, registered as VQ-BRS, experienced a nose landing gear (NLG) failure during landing at Antalya Airport (LTAI) in Turkey. The incident is being investigated by the Interstate Aviation Committee (MAK) of Russia.
Investigation
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has received notification of the incident and has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the MAK's investigation. This appointment is made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, as the United States is the State of Manufacturer of the avionics components installed on the aircraft.
