What happened
On January 1, 2020, an Airbus A321, registration VQ-BRS, experienced a failure of the nose landing gear during the landing phase at Antalya airport (LTAI) in Antalya, Turkey. There were no injuries resulting from the incident.
The investigation
The Interstate Aviation Committee (MAK) of Russia is conducting the investigation. Because the United States is the state of manufacture for the aircraft's avionics components, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the MAK under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13. All investigative details are to be released by the MAK.
