Incident Notification
An incident involving a Boeing 737-300 occurred on February 2, 2020. The Comision de Investigacion de Accidentes y Incidentes de Aviacion Civil (CIAIAC), the Spanish civil aviation accident investigation body, notified the United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the event. The notification was made in accordance with international protocols.
NTSB Response
In response, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist in the investigation. This appointment follows the provisions of Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (ICAO Annex 13).
