NTSB Assists Mexico in Investigating 2020 Piper PA25 Accident

Overview of the Incident and Investigation Role The government of Mexico notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Piper PA25 airplane. The incident occurred on March 15, 2020. In response to the notification, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the government of Mexico with its investigation. This assistance is being provided under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which governs international accident investigation cooperation. ## Information Release All investigative information related to the accident will be released by the government of Mexico.
