Accident Details
The pilot of a tail-wheel equipped airplane reported that, during the landing roll, the airplane began to veer to the left. In response, the pilot applied right brake. Subsequently, the airplane started to swerve and then ground looped to the right. During the ground loop, the left wing struck the surface.
Damage
The airplane sustained substantial damage to the left wing. No other damage was reported.

The pilot stated that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation. The cause of the veer and subsequent ground loop was not specified beyond the pilot's actions.
