Incident Overview
On August 8, 2020, an incident occurred involving a Canadair CL-215-1A10 airplane. The Comision de Investigacion de Accidentes y Incidentes de Aviacion Civil (CIAIAC) of Spain has notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the event.
NTSB Involvement
Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist in the investigation, as the United States is the State of Manufacturer of the engines installed on the aircraft. All investigative information will be released by the CIAIAC.
