What happened
On February 5, 2025, at approximately 18:48 CST, a Beech 5P, registration N138TL, was conducting a business flight under Part 91 regulations when it was involved in an accident near Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
During an instrument approach, the pilot reported that the aircraft experienced a loss of partial power to potentially both engines. The pilot attempted to remedy the situation by moving all engine controls to the full forward position, but the engines failed to produce full power. Due to insufficient performance to reach the runway, the pilot executed an off-field landing. The aircraft impacted wooded terrain and came to rest in an upright position.
The accident resulted in one minor injury to the pilot, while there were no fatalities. The impact caused substantial damage to the fuselage, both wings, and the empennage.
