What happened
On September 12, 2025, at approximately 17:39 CDT, a Cessna 210A, registration N911MC, was involved in an accident near Gore Springs, Mississippi. The aircraft was being operated under Part 91 regulations for a personal flight.
According to the pilot, the aircraft experienced a loss of engine power while in cruise flight. The pilot subsequently performed a forced landing on a two-lane road. During the landing sequence, the aircraft's wings struck trees and a road sign, resulting in leading-edge impact damage to the outboard 2 to 3 feet and near the mid-span of both wings. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.
