Occurrence Details
On July 10, 2021, at approximately 2:00 pm EDT, a Diamond DA40 aircraft registered as N494DS was involved in a runway excursion at North Eleuthera International Airport (MYEH), Eleuthera, Bahamas. The aircraft had departed from Massey Ranch Airpark (X50) in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA.
After landing on runway 07/25, the aircraft exited the useable portion of the runway, coming to rest in nearby bushes. The incident resulted in minimal damage to the underside of the fuselage. No injuries were reported among the sole occupant, the private pilot.
