Occurrence
On 27 March 2023 at approximately 4:00 PM local time (2000 UTC), a Cessna TR182 bearing United States registration N619MW was involved in an accident while landing at North Eleuthera Airport (MYEH), Eleuthera, Bahamas. The aircraft had departed from Leonard M. Thompson International Airport (MYAM), Abaco, Bahamas with three persons on board—one crew member and two passengers.
According to reports, the pilot in command proceeded to land the aircraft without extending the landing gear. As a result, the propeller blades and the underside of the fuselage contacted the runway surface, causing subsequent damage to the aircraft. No injuries were reported among the occupants.
