Accident Details
On 21 June 2025, a training flight involving a glider L-13 Blanik, registration LY-GOO, departed from Pociūnai Aerodrome (EYPR). During the return to the aerodrome, the glider struck branches of a tree located on the property of a nearby homestead. Following the collision, the glider entered a spin and subsequently crashed into the roof of a barn. After impacting the barn roof, the glider fell to the ground.
Damage and Injuries
The accident resulted in substantial damage to the glider's cockpit. The fuselage broke, and both wings were deformed. Both pilots on board sustained serious injuries.
