The aircraft exited the runway and came to a stop in the grass, with the nose wheel positioned roughly 640 feet past the runway threshold. There were no injuries reported following the incident.
The investigation
The investigation focused on the circumstances surrounding the aircraft's inability to stop on the runway. The assessment confirmed that the incident occurred during daylight hours. While the aircraft sustained damage, it was limited to localized rubber melting on the main tires and various cuts. Notably, the emergency locator transmitter did not activate during the excursion.
