What happened
On 12 September 2023, a Cessna 208B was performing a scheduled flight departing from Red Lake Airport, Ontario. The aircraft, operated by Superior Airways, was carrying a pilot and six passengers at the time of the incident.
While attempting to land on Runway 27 at Pikangered Airport, Ontario, the aircraft encountered fog. This reduced visibility resulted in a long landing on the runway. Following the touchdown, the aircraft continued down the runway and eventually rolled off the end of the paved surface. The impact caused damage to the aircraft's propeller, but there were no injuries reported among the occupants.

The TSB conducted a Class 4 investigation into the event. This type of investigation is limited in scope and focuses on the immediate circumstances of the occurrence.
