What happened
On February 18, 2022, an aircraft with registration UPC 8503, a CL600 2B19, was involved in an occurrence at Larnaca International Airport (LCLK). The incident took place during operations at the aerodrome.
The investigation
The investigation was conducted by the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Board (AAIIB) of the Republic of Cyprus. The inquiry was carried out in compliance with EU Regulation No 996/2010, Act No 49/1997 Coll., and Annex 13 to the ICAO Convention on International Civil Aviation. The primary objective of the investigation was to identify safety improvements and prevent future occurrences rather than to assign blame or liability.
