What happened
During a nighttime approach to Lukapa Airport, an aircraft began an uncontrolled descent while flying at an altitude of approximately 1,800 metres. The descent continued until the aircraft struck an open field situated roughly 16 km away from the airport perimeter.
There were nine fatalities recorded as a result of the impact. No survivors were reported among the occupants of the aircraft.

Information regarding the specific mechanical or operational reasons for the uncontrolled descent remains unconfirmed, though the accident occurred during the approach phase of flight under night conditions.
