What happened
While operating a flight from Lille-Lesquin to Lognes-Emerainville Airport, the pilot experienced mechanical difficulties involving the engine. In response to these engine problems, the pilot decided to divert from the original flight path to perform an emergency landing in a field situated in Betz, approximately 45 km northeast of the destination airport.
Upon contacting the ground, the aircraft descended into a muddy area, which caused the plane to sink and eventually overturn. The impact resulted in the aircraft coming to rest in an upside-down position.
Outcomes
All four people on board were successfully rescued from the wreckage. Among the occupants, one passenger sustained slight injuries. The aircraft sustained damage so extensive that it was deemed beyond economical repair and was subsequently stripped for parts.
