What happened
During a local skydiving operation in the vicinity of Fakhrabad, approximately 30 km southwest of Dushanbe, an aircraft crashed while attempting to land. The flight was engaged in a mission involving the deployment of eight skydivers, all of whom had successfully exited the cabin prior to the incident.
As the crew attempted to return to Fakhrabad Airfield, the aircraft went down during the final approach phase of the flight. The impact resulted in one fatality and one serious injury. The captain of the aircraft was killed in the crash, while the copilot sustained serious injuries.
