What happened
During a skydiving operation in the Volgograd region, a single-engine aircraft was conducting local jumps. After several participants had exited the plane, the pilot intended to return to the original departure point. At the time of the incident, two passengers remained inside the cabin.
While flying at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters, the aircraft began a rapid descent. The pilot subsequently lost control of the plane, which entered a steep dive. The aircraft struck the Akthuba River, located in the vicinity of Volzhsky, at a speed of 310 km/h. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the single-engine aircraft and caused three fatalities.
