What happened
During a nighttime approach to Tunis-Carthage Airport, an aircraft crashed in an open field situated approximately 35 km southeast of Tunis, in the vicinity of Grombalia. The flight was operating as an ambulance service, traveling from Mitiga. The aircraft was carrying a total of eleven occupants, including six crew members, three doctors, and two patients. Following the impact, a post-crash fire broke out, which completely destroyed the aircraft. There were 11 fatalities and no survivors.
