What happened
During an arrival at Luzamba Airport, the aircraft failed to decelerate sufficiently before the end of the runway. Due to the inability to stop within the available runway length, the plane overran the landing surface and eventually came to a rest.
There were six people on board during the incident. Following the overrun, all occupants were able to exit the aircraft without sustaining any injuries. While no lives were lost, the aircraft sustained damage that rendered it beyond repair.
Findings
- The aircraft was unable to come to a halt within the remaining runway distance after touchdown.
