What happened
The incident involved an aircraft operated by a crew of two: one pilot and one engineer. The flight was designated as a post maintenance control flight, intended to verify the airframe's status following recent servicing work.
Shortly after departing from Speke Airport, the aircraft entered its initial climb phase. During this ascent, the airframe experienced a stall. The loss of lift resulted in an uncontrolled descent, causing the aircraft to crash into a nearby field. The impact and subsequent events led to the destruction of the airframe.
Both individuals on board sustained injuries as a result of the accident. No fatalities were reported in this incident.
