What happened
The incident occurred after the aircraft completed its touchdown at Tanga Airport. During this phase of flight, a tire burst, leading to a loss of directional control. As a result, the machine veered off the paved runway surface and eventually came to rest in an adjacent grassy area.
The pilot was the only person on board at the time of the event. Despite the severity of the deviation from the runway, the individual remained unhurt. However, the structural integrity of the airframe was compromised significantly during the excursion, resulting in damage that rendered the aircraft beyond repair.
