What happened
During a nighttime approach to Kano-Mallam Aminu Kano Airport, an aircraft impacted the ground in a field situated 7.2 km before reaching the runway threshold. The weather conditions at the time of the accident were reported as favorable. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft and the deaths of all 14 occupants.
