A twin-engine aircraft crashed shortly after departing Guangzhou-Baiyun Airport, resulting in the deaths of all eight people on board.

What happened

Shortly after departing from Guangzhou-Baiyun Airport, a twin engine airplane experienced a loss of control during its initial climb. The accident occurred approximately four minutes into the flight, with the aircraft impacting the ground a few kilometers away from the departure airfield.

There were eight fatalities recorded in the accident, involving all occupants on board. The passengers and crew consisted of three Chinese nationals and five French citizens.

Findings

During the ascent phase, the aircraft became uncontrollable, leading to the impact near the airport perimeter.

Probable cause

The aircraft lost control during the climb phase shortly after takeoff.
