What happened
During a flight originating from Teresina, the crew began the approach sequence for runway 18 at Recife-Guararapes Airport. While on final approach, the aircraft suffered a simultaneous failure of both engines. This loss of power led to an aerodynamic stall, causing the plane to descend into a residential area situated approximately 5 km from the runway threshold.
The impact resulted in the destruction of the aircraft. Among the occupants, there were two fatalities, consisting of the pilot and one passenger, while eight others sustained injuries. Despite the crash occurring in a populated area, no individuals on the ground were harmed during the incident.
