What happened
During a positioning flight departing from Istanbul-Atatürk Airport toward Antalya, the flight crew encountered technical difficulties. Following the report of these issues, the aircraft was authorized to perform an emergency return to the departure airport.
Upon completing the landing, the twin engine aircraft lost directional control on the runway. The aircraft veered off the paved surface and entered the apron area, where it struck several storage containers. The impact caused the aircraft to catch fire. The accident resulted in two fatalities, as both pilots were killed in the crash.
