What happened
On the morning of the accident, a twin engine aircraft departed from Medellín Airport at 08:46 local time, traveling toward its destination at Manizales. As the flight was performing its approach to La Nubia Airport, the aircraft collided with a mountain slope situated approximately 8 km from the runway.
There were seven fatalities recorded in the accident, as all individuals on board perished upon impact. The incident occurred during the approach phase of the flight.
