What happened
While operating a flight from Barcelona toward Charallave, the crew experienced technical difficulties involving the aircraft's engines. In response to these mechanical issues, the decision was made to divert the flight to the closest available airfield.
During the diversion process, the pilot attempted to execute an emergency landing. The aircraft subsequently crash-landed in a prairie area, where the impact resulted in a collision with several trees. The aircraft sustained damage that rendered it a total loss.
Outcomes
