What happened
During a flight traveling from Geneva toward Dübendorf, located near Zurich, a twin engine aircraft struck the southern slope of Mt Vorder Galmihorn. The mountain peak involved in the collision reaches an elevation of 3,517 metres and is situated north of the village of Grafadamente.
Following the impact, search efforts located the wreckage one day after the incident occurred. There were four fatalities among the crew members on board at the time of the crash.
