What happened
During a flight originating from Poro Point, the aircraft was performing a descent toward Mankayan Airport when it encountered severe weather. The flight was operating in conditions characterized by rainfall and significantly reduced visibility. While the crew was in the process of requesting the most recent weather update for the destination airport, the aircraft impacted a mountain slope.
The accident occurred roughly 20 km from the Mankayan airfield. The impact resulted in the deaths of all eight occupants on board the aircraft.
