What happened
A business flight traveling from Teresina to Floriano was forced to change its destination after the pilot received reports of deteriorating weather conditions at the original arrival point. The flight, which included one pilot and seven passengers, opted to divert to Oeiras Airfield instead.
Upon arriving at the airfield, the twin engine airplane landed on runway 11. The runway surface was wet following recent rainfall. During the landing roll, the aircraft began to skid, leading to a loss of directional control. The plane veered off the left side of the runway and eventually stopped in a nearby wooded area, approximately 10 meters from the edge of the paved surface.
All eight people on board were successfully rescued from the wreckage. While most occupants were unharmed, one passenger sustained slight injuries. The aircraft was determined to be a total loss due to the extent of the damage.
