What happened
A private flight traveling from Acapulco-General Juan N. Álvarez Airport to Cuernavaca ended in a fatal accident during the landing phase. The twin engine airplane was operating a flight with one pilot and six passengers on board when it began its final approach to runway 20 at Cuernavaca Airport.
While maneuvering for landing, the aircraft struck a supermarket located in Temixco, approximately 2 km before reaching the runway threshold.
