What happened
On the morning of the accident, a flight departed from Jundiaí-Comandante Rolim Adolfo Amaro Airport at 05:50 local time, destined for Campo de Marte Airport in São Paulo. During the descent toward the destination, the pilot encountered adverse weather conditions. In response to the deteriorating environment, air traffic control directed the aircraft to return to its point of origin in Jundiaí.
Shortly after receiving these instructions, the aircraft entered a wooded region within the Mt Cantareira area, situated near Caieiras. While operating in conditions of limited visibility, the aircraft type struck trees before crashing. The impact and subsequent fire completely destroyed the plane. The pilot, who was the only person on board, was killed in the accident.
