What happened
While traveling from Pucallpa to Trujillo, the aircraft encountered intense atmospheric turbulence. During the flight, the pilot contacted air traffic control to report that the plane was experiencing severe weather conditions. Shortly after this communication, the aircraft became uncontrollable and descended into a mountainous area situated approximately 60 km northeast of Trujillo, near the town of Otuzco.
There were four fatalities recorded in the accident, as all occupants on board the aircraft perished during the impact. No survivors were reported from the crash site.
