Accident Overview
Shortly after departing from Campo de Marte Airport on a flight to Porto Alegre, the pilot of the aircraft encountered an unexpected situation. The airplane entered an uncontrolled descent and subsequently crashed on Marquês de São Vicente Avenue. Upon impact, the aircraft burst into flames.
Damage and Fatalities
The airplane was completely destroyed in the accident. Both occupants—the pilot, Gustavo Medeiros, and the passenger, Márcio Louzada Carpena—were killed. A public transport bus on the ground was also destroyed, but no casualties among people on the ground were reported.

The pilot was identified as Gustavo Medeiros. The passenger, flying with the pilot, was Márcio Louzada Carpena, the aircraft's owner.
