What happened

During a nighttime approach to Abidjan-Félix Houphouët Boigny Airport, an aircraft encountered visibility conditions reduced to 1,250 metres because of isolated low-level cloud cover. While performing the short final phase of the flight, the aircraft made contact with the ground approximately 30 metres before reaching the threshold of runway 21.
