What happened
On the date of the accident, a twin engine airplane departed from the Cuiabá-Marechal Rondon Airport. During the initial climb phase of the flight, the aircraft encountered terrain and struck a hill located a short distance from the departure airfield.
The impact resulted in the destruction of the aircraft. There were nine fatalities recorded among the occupants of the plane, with no survivors reported at the scene.
Findings
Preliminary information indicates that the accident occurred during the climb following takeoff. The primary factor in the loss of the aircraft was the collision with terrain during the ascent.
