What happened
During a night flight from Tangier to Ouarzazate, a twin-engine aircraft operated by the Royal Moroccan Police (Gendarmerie Royale Marocaine) crashed into a mountain slope. The flight was transporting a crew of two pilots and three police officers. The accident occurred while the aircraft was in the cruise phase of flight, positioned between the locations of Demnate and Ouarzazate.
