What happened
During the initial climb phase following departure from El Trompillo Airport, a single-engine aircraft experienced an uncontrolled descent. During the descent, the plane struck a tree before impacting several houses situated within a populated area adjacent to the airfield. The impact and subsequent crash resulted in a wide distribution of debris across a significant area.
Findings
The accident resulted in the deaths of seven occupants on board the aircraft and three people on the ground. Additionally, the incident left five people on the ground with injuries. The sequence of events began immediately after the aircraft departed the runway.
