What happened
A flight originating from Asunción-Silvio Pettirossi Airport was en route to a private landing strip located at Rancho Rosavilla in northwest Paraguay. The aircraft, a single-engine airplane, was carrying a total of seven people, including two pilots and five passengers.
Upon reaching the destination, the aircraft touched down on a dirt runway. During the landing sequence, the plane drifted from the prepared surface and moved into nearby vegetation, eventually coming to a stop against several trees. The impact resulted in the aircraft being damaged beyond repair.
Findings
- All seven occupants of the aircraft sustained injuries during the excursion.
- The primary factor in the accident was the aircraft veering off the runway after touchdown.
